No go on finding setting buttons on the monitor housing or in one of its menus (I have no idea how to access menus/settings on that monitor)? The monitor will work fine on a mac if you plug in to the HDMI port and then manually change the input to the HDMI input setting (press the center button on the base unti the monitor says HDMI on the screen). You will need an adapter from DVI, MiniDVI, or Mini Display port, depending on which Mac Laptop you have.
I'm not sure what a Thunderbolt port will think of the monitor, but it should work with an adapter. I have mine working perfectly connected to a DVI port on the back of a Mac Pro. The USB hub will work fine if you plug in the provided USB cable into a USB port on you mac. The wireless functions of the monitor are not compatible with Mac and probably will never be, since it uses some propietary 3rd party software developed only for Windows. Besides, USB and wireless video will never look as good as a direct connection anyway.
